NY CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT 32, QUEENS OFFICE!

It seems that some Candidates for the NY City Council District 32, Queens, NY have some very deep deep pockets with so much money to spend it appears like they are trying to buy their way into office. I wont mention any names (let them buy their publicity; they can afford it) but, one has spent close to $100,000. 00 in his campaign and, incidentally, wonder of wonders was able to file thousands of signatures 2 days after filing was announced—is he a miracle worker or something else?

Was the gun jumped or did some Candidates “stockpile signatures?” I, Sam DiBernardo, am running on fumes but my background, knowledge, experience and ethics are the strongest of any Candidate and I, at 74, have “been around the block a couple of times so, don’t try to pull the wool over my eyes! People like these should be rejected by the Voters! DON’T LET THEM FOOL YOU THE VOTER!!!

Two other candidates have already spent $50,000 in round fat numbers! Is this fair? I think not! Financial Procedures and “Limits” have been defined by the Campaign Finance Board so, fellow Candidates don’t dance around these rules. Play fair and don’t play “the knock your opponent off the ballot game.” If the people like and believe in you and your message, then you will be elected. Remember, no Candidate is in a position to promise JOBS or anything else. He or she will sit in the NY City Council in a temporary position as a newcomer and asked to wisely cast their votes and opinions on issues (and even initiate new ones) brought before the Board.” Like it is—I calls ‘em likes I sees them!” Can I Hear an AMEN!
