Sam Di Bernardo Is hard working and a skilled educator with supervisory experience who has worked his way through college. He has taught privately and in New York City Schools & Evening Ed as a Licensed Computer Teacher. Sam has been  H.S Drafting, Job Corps Math Teacher and a Department Chairman, who has earned more than 15 graduate credits in Math Education on a Xerox Scholarship at NYU and is a master of computer graphics and digital photography. Sam earned his BA from Adelphi University and has studied at more than six Universities and Colleges, including Cambridge University, England. He has completed a post masters Advanced Professional Certificate studies program at New York University’s School of Business Administration.

 Business & Education Background:

 Sam, called Sal by family and friends, is a  Korean War Veteran who started working and learning business in his parent’s Brooklyn Candy Store at age 12. He is a College Graduate (BA) with   Certificate Courses in Marketing Management from the NYU Graduate School of Business Administration. Xerox Scholarship in Math and Education at NYU School of Graduate Studies and Graduate Studies in Ecology at N. Eastern Ct. State University. He has been a Top Mortgage Salesman (MAE) for The Dime Savings Bank. 

Past holder of a NY State Real Estate License and Notary Publics Licenses and current holder of NYC file # and 4 NY State Teaching Licenses. (They are Licenses to teach Computers, Marketing, General Academics, and High School Drafting & Art).

 He was  VP and Marketing Manager for Norstar Bank Mortgage Div., with a staff of 28! He has been a Real Estate Salesperson, Property and Sales Manager for Huntington Country Farms, a Homeowners Assoc. As an Ozone Park & Howard Beach resident, Sam has been your neighbor more than 57 years filled with civic pride and proudest as his years as your children’s teacher!

Our Good Neighbor Sam believes one can gain life’s successes through a sound education and especially from great schools! He will fight for the improvement of our neighborhoods’ Public Schools and for OUR Children’s Education. He believes that the 3 most important things for your children’s life are EDUCATION, EDUCATION, EDUCATION! Our Children should be nurtured in superior and safe schools and inspire them to reach for the stars!
